Some Projects.....

Just thought I would like to share a few projects with you that I was working on yesterday at home. Did not go anywhere special for National Scrapbooking Day but I did get some stuff done at home and wanted to share.

The first idea is something I have been working on for many years. It is a project that I saw in a book many years ago and fell in love with the idea. I had initially thought I would only put a few letters on my wall, but now I am addicted. Everytime I see a different shaped letter I have to have it. It is a great way to personalize your scrapbook space!!

My scrapbook room is based on the colors of yellow, blue and cream; and most of my letters reflect that scheme. But recently I have been finding that I want to add all colors to this wall. Yesterday I did the large pink "J" in the lower right corner with the pink flower and I also completed the orange and pink "J" just above the larger pink one. There are many ways that you can adapt this project as well. Place a shelf in your room and decorate the monograms and place them on the shelf. If you have a special journal that you place all of your scrapbook sketches and ideas in, personalize the front with a monogram or many monograms. It is a great idea and I hope it provides you with a new or improved idea.

Also made some Mother's Day Cards yesterday. The black/white Basic Grey Card was from a kit (Yes, I buy kits too!!!) that I purchased at Simply Scrapping a couple of years ago. It is a design by Trisha Gooding. The other is Bo Bunny paper and ribbon and it is my own design! Enjoy and would love you to send me some of your Mother's Day Card creations so that I may post them.
ENJOY!!!
