This is one of the Yummiest Meatball recipes ever. It seems the combination of the Onion Soup Mix, Apricot Jam and Russian Dressing seems odd...but believe me - It Is Fabulous!!! This is great for a buffet table or even as a main dish over rice or noodles with some veggies. When my Mom is invited to a potluck, she will always bring this dish and they are always a big hit. Make some for your family today!!! The kids will love them!!! ENJOY!!!
RUSSIAN MEATBALLS
1 ½ lb lean ground beef
½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1-2 tb. ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
Make meatballs. Place in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Put onto a paper towel to drain excess grease. Mix 1 bottle of Apricot Jam (500ml) and 1 bottle of Russian Salad Dressing (small bottle) and 1 package of Onion Soup Mix. If juice is too thick add water. Mix together and pour over meatballs.
