Vintage Santa Card

Judy and I know that a lot of you have started creating your Christmas cards. We've even met some who have already finished. (We don't like you...ok...we're really just jealous.) Anyways, I thought I'd share with you a Christmas card we've been doing as our make n' take at the last couple of Go Scrapping events.
What's great about this card is that it can be created using only scrap cardstock and pattern paper.

I found the image of the Santa on the internet. There's oodles of images that are free. I just saved the image, sized it and printed it onto cardstock.

I made my own tag using a rectangular piece of cardstock and rounded the end corners and punched a hole in the middle.

The calendar stamp I used is from Imaginisce. I love the size of the calendar but didn't like the cupcake that is in the corner so, I simply carved out the cupcake using my x-acto knife. The calendar image is embossed using gold embossing powder.

It's hard to tell in the photo but I also added some Christmas red Stickles to the wreath. There is a dot in each cluster of berries. It really added some sparkle to the card.

I added a holly leaf and a red button to complete the look.

This is a great card design to convert with what you may have laying around your table.

If you use our card for inspiration post a comment and link the pic of your card. We'd love to see what you've created!

Sheri
