Savoury Sundays!


One of my favourite wintery comfort food is Chicken A La King and my friend Janet gave me this easy and simple recipe. Yummo!

Chicken A La King
2 cans of Cream of Chicken soup
1 can of milk
Ranch Dressing to taste
Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper
1 1/2 cups of cooked chicken cubed
1 1/2 cups of assorted frozen vegetables
Frozen puff pastry shells (approximately two shells for each person)

Put all ingrediants accept the puff pastry in a slower cooker/crock pot and put on low for the afternoon. About a half an hour before dinner, bake the puff pastries according to the instructions on the box. When pastries are ready place two on each plate and pour the chicken over the pastries. Serve with a salad.
Serves about 4 to 6.
